R. Kevin Mafera, CFP®, CLTC®

Private Wealth Manager

Kevin began his career in the financial services industry in November of 1989. He earned his CERTIFIED FIANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in November of 1993 and his Chartered Long Term Care (CLTC) designation in February of 2011. Kevin has built his practice on the underlying principles of fairness, integrity and honesty in helping his clients pursue their financial goals. His common sense approach to financial planning begins with helping clients set their goals and timeframes, design a comprehensive plan to work towards the goals and then monitor the plan on an ongoing basis and make changes when prudent.

From 2000 through 2002, Kevin was hired by Northeastern University to help teach CFP® courses. As a retirement specialist, he has worked with many of America’s Fortune 500 companies speaking with employees about their company retirement plan.

Kevin holds his General Securities Representative (Series 7) and Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (Series 63) registrations with LPL Financial. He also holds his Life, Accident and Health Insurance license.

Kevin’s wife Gay joined the practice in 2002. Together they continue to help their clients in their pursuit of financial independence.

Kevin and Gay live in Marshfield with their black lab Dow Jones, who prefers to be called Jonesy. They have a passion for travel, family, organizing events, and helping their clients become more financially successful.
